Create a document
Several Types of Documents can be managed by Retail Ops. Depending its Document type, there are several ways of starting a new document:
- From scratch:
- From an existing Project, via the "New Document" button. Here you can Import a drawing, Add products from local Catalogs, or Import Document lines from other existing Documents.
- By transforming another document:
- Open the existing Document and click on the "Transform button". This action may be conditionned by the workflow or other restrictions.
- By copying another Document:
- From the existing Document Project page, click on the "Clone" icon next to the Document to be copied.
- Automatically:
- When paying a Deposit on an existing Document, it is possible to automatically generate a Deposite invoice document
- When using the EDI exchanges, some documents may automatically be imported onto your system when sent by a supplier (e.g. Purchase order acknowledgement)
